General Job Description
Dogwood Industries LLC is seeking an assembly specialist to join our team. A successful candidate is someone who can assemble components and materials efficiently and accurately in accordance with plans and specifications and as directed by others. Understands written and verbal instruction and can understand and follow drawings and work instruction. Candidates will work with metal cladding, insulation, and steel components. Candidate is skilled in carpentry, material handling, mechanical assembly, and maintains a safe work environment through organization and housekeeping.
Job Responsibilities
- Assembling skeleton and square frames
- Metal and insulation sheeting
- Material handling including operation of equipment
- Candidate should be able to operate all-non-specialized shop equipment as well as hand and power tools.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Requirements
- Experience working in a construction or manufacturing field
- Experience working in a carpentry position
- Competent in a trade and able to apply these skills to multiple tasks
- Selects the proper tool for the tasks and ensures proper operation
- Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment
- Participates in the development of processes for repeatable execution of tasks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of roofing or carpentry experience is preferred
- Metal building and construction installation a plus
- High school diploma, general education degree or vocational degree
Physical Requirements/ Work Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time. Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 70 pounds. The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. This position requires physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities in a primarily production environment. The work environment characteristics here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Compensation
$25.00 - $34.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Location
This is an onsite position at the Dogwood Factory at 3200 35th Ave. NE Everett, WA 98201.
Work will be completed in a manufacturing setting, primarily under cover.
